Fixing Agent for Cotton

Application

Our Fixing Agent is a new type aldehyde-free fixing agent. Mainly used for cotton, rayon, hemp, and other cellulose fibers or fabrics in colors fixed process. 

Properties:

Appearance:         Brown-yellowish to brown liquid 

Ionic character:      Cationic

pH (1% aqueous solution):      6.0

Solubility:                   Easily soluble in water

Features:

1.Improve cotton, rayon, hemp, and other cellulose fiber/reactive dyestuff dyed fabric wet - treatment fastness.

2.Does not affect color ton.

3.Does not reduce light fastness.

4.Good effect to improve colorfastness to perspiration-light for sportswear. 

5.Alkali resistance fixing agent, can be used for mercerizing fabrics treatment. 

6.Does not contain formaldehyde

Impregnation Dyeing Process

After 40-60°C  20minutes,washing, dry, 

Dyeing depth: Fixing Agent Dosage

Light color:  0.3-0.5%o.w.f.

Medium color:0.5-1.5%o.w.f.  

Deep color:2.0-4.0%o.w.f

Padding Dyeing Process

Padding: 5-20g/L → Dry

Notes: If use our Fixing agent with silicone softener in one bath, please make compatibility test firstly. We recommend use two bathes. 

Remove Fixing Agent

If there are problems in dyeing process, and need to remove fixing agent, please add the color and strip the color , then redye and use fixing agent again. 

Recommend recipe

Fixing removing agent:2-4g/L

Sodium carbonate:2-4g/L

Also could use Reduction Oxidation Process to treatment

Reduction Treatment

Sodium Hydrosulfite:3-5g/L

Sodium carbonate:1-2g/L

90-100°C  20-30 minutes

Oxidation treatment:  

H2O2 (35%):1-2g/l

Na2CO3:0.5-1g/l

G-600:1-2g/l

90-100°C  20-30 minutes
